The Stranger: Psychological Extreme Horror Book 2 (ADULT AUDIO)

This guy is way better and bloodier than Dexter, and he is back at it.  This series is not for the faint at heart, it is only for the real horror lovers, as everything is fair game in the strangers world.  If you read book one and wonder how in the world author Mike Evans could top his first book? Trust me, he did and by leaps and bounds.
I had the audio version narrated by S. W. Salzman and trust me I have never heard another audiobook like this, ever.  Mr. Salzman does an awesome job bringing this book to life and giving it a pulse.
It makes you wonder can the stranger ever be stopped as you double check the locks on your windows and doors.

Mysteries of Cove: Gears of Revolution (MG)

There is so much I would love to talk to you about when it comes to Mysteries of Cove: Gears of Revolution, but if I do it would spoil it for those of you that haven't read the book yet.  I can tell you there is action and danger galore for Trenton and Kallista as they leave Cove in search for Kallista's father, Leo.  But they find help in strange places, and in new friends, even though they don't always know who to trust, and not all of their plans backfire on them.  But it is still the dragons that they must fear the most, right?
This is a exciting and fast pace book that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book.  Virtually every page had some sort of trial for the two to overcome, and the added suspense is so thick I don't think it could be cut, even with one of Leo's inventions.  Keeping all of this in mind, this is a wonderful book for all readers, enjoy.

The Uninvited: Psychological Extreme Horror Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

This guy is Dexter squared.  it is a great book if you really like the slasher, blood and guts, very detailed gory, extreme horror type  books.  If you don't, don't bother, you won't like it and will just complain, if you do like that kind of thing, well than what are you waiting for, check the locks turn up the lights and let s go.
This serial killer gets away with it and no one knows how, but he goes on terrorizing until the day the police finally blow him up or have they?
I had the audio in which narrator S.W. Salzman brings this story to life in my imagination more than I could have ever done it myself.  His use of different voices and the way he made the story his own just made the whole experience so much more wonderful for me.

The Meeting: A Seventten Series (ADULT AUDIO)

This is the third in the Seventeen series and we skip ahead even more to the first meeting between Lucas and Reid, and how their partnership comes to be.  This is a great backstory to the full book "Soul Meaning" as all of the novellas I have listened to so far have been.  Michael Bower is back as narrator on the audiobook and doing a awesome job as always, he has really made these characters his own, I can't say enough good words about how awesome he is narrating these books.  It seems A.D. Starrling writes them just for him to narrate, I am not sure but I hope the duo keeps on going.

Dancing Blades: A Seventeen Series (ADULT AUDIO)

This is the second novella in the Seventeen series, and Lucas is a bit older now, he is out on his own traveling around looking for the best people to train him to stay alive.  Because he knows he is the most hated of all beings a abomination of both his dead mother's and father's people.
This is another wonderful novella and an awesome audio narrated by Michael Bower.  Michael Bower made the audio awesome with his command of the characters and their attitudes.  His use of different voices for each character is wonderful.  This audiobook is just all round great.

The Duality Bridge: Singularity 2 (YA)

Eli, is now a face of the resistance whether he wants to be or not.  His fugue state is also changing it is taking him deeper and for longer.  It is showing him so much more not just how to paint anymore, and he doesn't know who he can trust to talk about this with, it seems everyone has their own agenda when it comes to him.  This is another wonderful action packed, suspenseful book set in the future where the Ascenders  (human/machine hybrids) are the powerful, the revered, the feared, and the pitied (at least by some like Eli).  Is Eli the coming bridge or not, that is the huge question that both the resistance and the Ascenders want to know now, and will go to great lengths to find out.
I have been fan of Ms. Quinn's books for a long time and that hasn't changed with this book, it was awesome.

Stealing Snow (YA)

Seventeen year old Snow has lived her life in a mental institution since trying to walk through a mirror when she was very young.  But she knows there is something wrong, she doesn't belong there and when she follows her boyfriend to escape, she finds herself trying to save them both from a strange world through the mirror.
This is another great book by author Danielle Paige of the book series Dorothy Must Die.  There are also some backstory novellas available on amazon.  But this action packed, suspense filled book is more than enough to let you know all you need  to know to get you started, and you will love it even if your not a princess fan as Snow is not your typical princess.

The Orphans: Origins (ADULT AUDIO)

Frank Fox a scientist still broken from loosing his wife eight years ago, he will do anything to save the new love of his life.  So when his lab partner tells him his new prototype drug works, he takes his word for it and uses some on his fiancée, who only has hours left in her fight with bone cancer.  But really, what have the two scientist unleashed?
This is not your typical zombie story - it is way better and really, maybe it could happen.  This is such an awesome start to a action packed series.  Book one Origins is just that, the start, and I can't wait until I can get book two and more.  I had the audio narrated by Jack Wallen Jr. who was awesome!  He made each character come alive with a voice of his or her own, and that really made the book great, I will continue on with the audios.

Hell Divers (ADULT AUDIO)

X lives on a airship looking for a new place for humans to live after WWIII poisoned Earth.  X is the best Hell Diver left and he and his unit must deploy to retrieve parts for the ageing airship, so it can stay afloat.  But when the ship is damaged in a electrical storm his team is deployed to the worst zone ever, Hades, where the Siren creatures congregate.
This is a awesome action packed, really action packed, suspenseful book.  This is a different kind of post-apocalyptic book where electrical storms are one of the really bad, killer things to avoid.  But still there are always a few good men and women willing to lay down their life for the rest.  I can't wait for the next part of this trilogy to come out and see what happens next.
I have the audio version and R.C. Bray was great keeping this book military sounding, but also putting voices and personalities to each of the characters.  he kept the story moving smoothly.  I really hope he is the  narrator for the next book as well, as I think I will stick with the audio versions as long as I can, as the author and narrator were so good for the first book.

Ren The Monster Inside the Monster (ADULT AUDIO)

Ren Lewis has never faced a challenge that has beat him, but this might be the one.  It is a huge challenge he learns he cannot run from, but must face and not even on his terms.  Can Ren survive this challenge?
This is another wonderful book in the Ren Lewis series by Sarah Noffke, and I stand by my last review that this is one series you should definitely get the audible version of, and listen too, as Tim Campbell is Ren Lewis.  This is probably the most perfect match of book and narrator I have ever listened too.  I also suppose I have a soft spot for that outspoken, snarky, Ren that actually says what everyone is thinking, but never says.  I suppose someday I want to grow up to be Ren.

The Big Sheep (ADULT)

This is a very quirky, funny futuristic detective book.  This book is sci-fi but not hard core, so it would appeal to friends not totally into all the space stuff, however it does include a biomedical company, some really big sheep, and one eccentric phenomenological inquisitor (P.I.).
This is probably one of the funniest sci-fi type books I have ever read.  This was my first book by Robert Kroese, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was not disappointed.  Erasmus Keane is the funny but smart Sherlock Holmes to Fowler's down to earth Watson.
This was such a awesome, fun read I hope he writes more with Keane and Fowler.

Ren God's little Monster (ADULT AUDIO)

Ren Lewis likes his life the way he likes it, no changes, no surprises.  But in this book he gets both in a big way. In this world of dangers for dream travelers, this is really a big distraction for Ren to get used to and it just gets worse from there.
If you read or listened to the first Ren Book: Ren Man Behind the Monster you will love this one.  Narrator Tim Campbell is back with the audio version.  If you are new to the series, well I don't often say this, but this is one series you really should listen too.  Tim Campbell makes the most awesome Ren Lewis, think Stewie from Family Guy all grown up.  Snarky, narcissistic, funny, genius and awesome.

Beyond the Stars at Galaxy's Edge (ADULT)

This is written by 12 amazing sci-fi authors that have come together under the Beyond the Stars title. They offer such awesome tales that take place in different worlds and in most cases aren't even human characters but each of the 12 stories takes place on the edge, of space that is.
I really enjoyed each of the 12 stories, many by authors I already know, and some by new authors I can't wait to read more of. Adam Quinn's "Procurement" is one of those new authors I can't wait to read more of, his story goes hand in hand with his new book just out. My favorite is by a new author, Michael Ezell entitled "The Good Food" in which a Jensen and his dog Roy are sent to a planet to terraform it, only problems arise, I will leave it there, but working with dogs I loved this story. Christopher Valin's story "Just An Old Fashion Lust Story" is a story of true karma, and will leave you with a huge smile at the end And Nick Webb's story "Second Place", well, any one would love that story whether or not they like sci-fi or not, it's just that good. Every time I read one of these compilations I don't think they can get much better but they always do, I can't wait to see what they have in store next.

The Changlings (MG)

When Izzy wishes for something more interesting to happen, then her sister disappears in the woods, she will do anything to get her back, anything.  But I don't think she was prepared to find out about herself especially this thing she is going to find out about herself.
This is a great, fresh, new take on a lot of the tales you think you know.  This is a wonderful book for any middle grader.  It will hold the attention of any and all with the all the action that has been packed between the covers of this book, it is non-stop and the suspense sometimes can be cut with a knife.  This book should make a huge splash and I am hoping Izzy, Hen and everyone else appear again someday soon.
