Suspended: Vagabond Circus Book One (YA AUDIO)

Do you believe in magic? Maybe after this circus, the Vagabond Circus.  It is a different kind of circus, although I can't quite put my finger on it yet, they have the normal circus things, acrobats, trapeze artists, and jugglers, but something is different about this circus, something magical.
Author Sarah Noffke has another hit on her hands with another spin on her wonderful dream traveler world.  This book has plenty of action and suspense and that is before she throws in the circus part of the story which by the way is awesome and if you didn't know better you would have thought she actually spent time with a circus (she did).  I had the audiobook version and voice actor Steve Barnes does a amazing job with all the different characters, their unique personalities and stories.  He kept the story exciting and me on the edge of my seat just waiting to find out what happens.  This is a awesome match between author and narrator and I can't wait to hear what happens next under the big top.

Flight 906 To Chicago: The extinction Cycle series (ADULT)

I loved this exciting story and can't wait for more in this series.  I love Mike Evans stories and this story made this Veteran's, Veteran's day.
It shows how one virus in a busy place can change things very fast and for the worst.  but this Marine Veteran and his son are on their way to O'Hara airport to pick up his brother when everything turns into an action packed and suspenseful adventure that is not to be missed.

Ashes of the Unspeakable: Book Two in the Borrowed World Series (ADULT AUDIO)

Jim and his friends are still trying to get home, the women that chose the FEMA camp are now understanding what Jim was talking about and wish they had gone with him.  Jim's family are also realizing Jim's views were not so far off and are toughening up, but do they actually see the real danger before their eyes, will Jim make it home in time to help them?
This book is so suspenseful and action packed you can't help but become entranced.  I had the audio and with the awesome narrator Kevin Pierce saying the ongoing mantra of  "I've got to get home" throughout the book, so what is not to love.  Mr. Pierce does a great job voicing all of the characters, but with Jim all I picture is a teddy bear of a man that will do anything for his friends, but will also do anything to get home to his family, so you better not stand in his way.  This was such a wonderful listen I can't wait to hear what happens next to Jim, his family and the gang.

Ren: The Monster's Adventure (ADULT AUDIO)

Ren Lewis on vacation, now that is just funny, Ren doesn't do vacations, and what is worse is since not all of the family can dream travel it is a car travel trip, and that is all I will say about that.  You need to read this book for yourself or if you are like me get the audio version and have narrator Tim Campbell read it to you, he is the perfect Ren Lewis, and this is the perfect book to get you started in on your holiday spirit.
Sarah Noffke and Tim Campbell have teamed up again for a awesome audiobook, but I am sure if  you just want to read the book for yourself you will still love Ms. Noffke's book and out snarky, tell it like it is friend Ren.

Seabound (ADULT AUDIO)

In an apocalypse that takes over the land people now live on boats.  Ester  and her friends live o the Catalina, but after 16 years things start to break, one of those thing is the desalination system, and on Esters watch.  But when they meet up with the Galaxy flotilla a flotilla of Galaxy cruise ships and many other ships that  have joined up with them or they have found and taken, trading does not go as planned.
This is a wonderful, action packed, suspenseful book.  The characters are great, I had the audio, narrated by Ray Greenley and he gave each character a different voice which helped me to fall in love with the characters and the story.  Mr. Greenley really made this story for me, he gave this story a pulse and it grew from there.  This book (author) and the narrator just go together so well  I hope to get to some day listen to book two and beyond of this series.  Because I can't wait to find out what happens to Ester and her friends and of course the Catalina.

To Burp or Not to Burp: A Guide to Your Body in Space (MG)

This is a wonderful book that answers a ton of questions many kids might have about living in space.  Written for children ages seven to ten and in age appropriate language many questions are answered like things about clothes washing and showers in space to burping, and I will say it is not a good idea to do it but you will have to read the book to find out why.
