Night of the Dragon (YA)

To save everyone Yumeko loves and cares about she gave up her portion of the Scroll of a Thousand Prayers.  Now Yumeko and her friends must hurry to keep the demons from using the one Dragon wish and plunging all they know into darkness and ruin.
This is a awesome book and I didn't want to say to much for fears of spoilers.  But this the third and final book of the trilogy and it is just as action packed.  The suspense at times is oh my gosh off the meter, along with the story twists just made this book a joy to read.  I will miss these friends but I hope Ms. Kagawa will bring more friends to life in a new series.

Sky Realms Online: Silverpeak: A LitRPG Adventure (ADULT AUDIO)

Hall and his friends are all back for more adventures.  Hall is now a lord of a long vacated village, and he and his friends find themselves in need of supplies.  So they set off for Silverpeak to stock up, but if you know this group than you know that is not as easy as it sounds.
I am sorry for the lack of description but I don't want to give away any of the action and suspense that fills this wonderful book to the top.  If you are luck enough to have the audio performed by Pavi Proczko than you can zone out and believe you are there with Hall and his little band of friends as they go on adventures, complete quests, and most importantly try and keep each other alive.

The Last Human A Novel (ADULT)

Sayra isn't the most scary creature on her space station, Watertower. She just wants to be treated better than her current status, which isn't much higher than a laundry hamper, all the while keeping her real identity a secret.  But on a field trip she meets someone like her and that is when things go wrong, her mother is killed fighting for her and a rogue space suit grabs her and takes her on board a spaceship with a ragtag crew fleeing the now exploding Watertower.
This is a good book full of twists, suspense and action.  This is also a very philosophical book at times.  It takes a long look at the human race and how it believes humans would act in certain circumstances.   It is one reaction I suppose, but the writing was good and I enjoyed the book..

The Lessons of Labradors (ADULT)

Sarah, a librarian can deal with the oddest of patrons, but deal with the grief of losing her best friend Sam, a Labrador retriever may be beyond her reasoning right now.  So, she joins a pet loss group, and who is there her first day but her lying ex-boyfriend from college.  Can she find it in her heart to love again and how would she be able to give?
This is such a sad but uplifting book at the same time, the awesome eclecticness of the pet loss group and what each of them has to bring is real world but powerful.  This is truly a book written for animal lovers of every kind, even snakes.

High Stakes: A Knight and Devlin Thriller, Book 6 (ADULT AUDIO)

Michael is given a all expense get away for him and his wife to Romania all he has to do is pick up a package and bring it back.  But when the deaths almost start before he is out of Romania Michael know there is more to this violin than he was told, and back in Boston he is now in the middle of three gangs all wanting and ready to kill for the violin.  Now Michael is jet setting all over to figure this case out and to keep himself alive.
I love these Knight and Devlin books they are so full of everything, action, suspense, twists, some history, and even a bit of romance.  But to be able to lose myself in the audio like I am there with Michael is priceless  and the wonderful narration by Bill Nevitt makes that possible.  I can't say enough about how the author and the voice actor have made this series great they go so well together.

Sky Realms Online: Grayhold: A LitRPG Adventure: Sky Realms Online, Book 1 (YA AUDIO)

One day the players are informed that something happened during the game and they have died but right before they died the makers of the game were able to transfer their conscientious to a computer and until they can transfer their conscientious back to a body they will have to live in the computer game. Now they must figure out the basics, what can't you do now you use to do, what happens if you die in the game now, and who to trust.
I don't want to give to much a way about what happens and what they do, but trust me this is cool and probably something we have all thought about before, but now the pain is real.  This audio is awesome full of action and adventure, with some really cool characters.  I have to say if you get the audio narrated by Pavi Proczko you are in for something special, you will feel as though you are really there with our friends rooting them on and feeling their sadness.  This is a good book whether you are out for adventure, or ready for that new role playing game.

Wicked As You Wish (YA)

Alexei is hiding in a town where magic does work.  Why is he hiding? Because he is the last person in the Avalon royal bloodline, and the mean witch has frozen his land.  Tala doesn't care her best friend has secrets she has some too.  But when on Alex's birthday the firebird appears for the first time in decades.  Alex and Tala unite with some others and go to get Alex's kingdom back.
I don't even know where to start, this book is so cool, it mashes up so many different stories that can keep you reading this book just to see what comes next.  But don't forget the main story line because that will have you reading pass your bedtime.  The story is wonderful and the characters work so well together, and it is a book that will even hold a reluctant readers interest. I really hope there is a sequel.

MaƱanaland (MG)

Max likes two things soccer and stories.  His grandfather fills him full of stories and his father and grandfather were both acclaimed soccer players. But the one story Max wants to hear no one will talk to him about, his mother who left when he was  a baby.  But things start to change when Max is finally old enough to try out for the towns soccer team but needs a birth certificate, which he doesn't have.  Max's dad leaves to get him one and Max and his grandfather are to keep the family bridge building going in his absence.  It is during this time Max's life will change first he learns his mom went to Mananaland and now he is determined to go see her.  Max also finds out his dad has been smuggling women out of their town to Mananaland, so when the priest from the other town brings a girl that needs to be moved quickly Max takes on the job.
I have probably said to much but there is still a lot more to discover in this beautifully written book.  The diversity of this book is something we all need more of, and I don't think anything I can say here will do it justice as it is a must read.
