This is a really cool book, great characters, great setting, great action, great suspense, and twist and turn that will knock you off of your seat if your not careful. The audio performed by Joe Hempel Just gives it a bit more flare than you would get with the print version, he voice has you losing yourself in the story like you are there in the middle of the mine. I really liked this audiobook and hope you do too.

Real Actors, Not People (The Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mysteries Book 8) (ADULT AUDIO)
I love these Frannie Shoemaker audios. Narrator Michelle Babb has become the voice of Frannie and she is wonderful. I love the action and suspense in these mysteries and how Frannie can stumble upon dead people. I also like the real life going ons in the campgrounds, people not prepared or even have a clue what they are doing, to the seasoned pros. These are just plain wonderful books or if you are like me audios, and I can't wait for more.

The Investigator (ADULT)
This book is about Letty Davenport, Lucas' adopted daughter. At 24 she has seen more action than most agents in any of the alphabet agencies. Letty has been working with a senator but has become board and has decided to leave, when the Senator offers her a chance to work with homeland security on a oil theft case in Texas. She takes the job and will see what happens after before she makes a final decision on whether to leave or not. But can she break the boys club and be accepted, and what about that missing oil?
This was wonderful action packed book, with a lot of suspense. I like the Letty character and her no one can stop her attitude. Kaiser is part of the boys club and hates he has to babysit her until they find a happy medium where they can help, teach, and learn from each other. Any women in a more male driven job has had to deal with this issue of acceptance so it's nice to see characters have to as well. I really liked this book and hope to see more of Letty and Kaiser again.

The Weird Sisters: A Note, a Goat, and a Casserole (Weird Sisters Detective Agency, 1) (MG)
This is a cute book about three witches that have moved into a old house and are making a big pot of soup for dinner, when a girl comes looking for her lost goat and what moves on from there will help show empathy and acceptance for those different from ourselves.
I loved this cute book that is very funny and entertaining but still slips in a lesson without you knowing it. This will make a great class read and is even wonderful for a reluctant reader. It is a fun book that children will love adults too.

Omens Bite: Sisters of Salem (Sisters of Salem, 2) (YA)
Mercy and Hunter have lost their mom and now in their grief fighting each other, they go their own ways, well as much as you can in a smallish town. The twins are green witches taking after their mom, but it is not something that they advertise. Together they are now the guardians of the gates to the underworld, but something is making the gates sick and they need to find out how to fix it before the demons start coming through and attacking the twins world. While Hunter throws herself into her friends, Mercy thinks she is by herself and seeks out the friendship of a gate keeper from the other side.
This was a wonderful book, even though I just started the series I could understand what went on in the first book. The characters are well developed and fun especially Xena. The action is non-stop and the suspense is thick and the whole book was so much fun I can't wait for part three.
Shinji Takahashi and the Mark of the Coatl (The Society of Explorers and Adventurers) (MG)
Shinji a normal tween being dragged on his aunts, most unconventional, shopping trips. This particular trip she gives him money and a quest, and they both get a whole lot more than they bargain for, including a really cool tattoo.
This was a awesome book filled with action and suspense it will grab anyone and suck them right into the story and hold them until well past their bedtime just to see what happens next. The characters are engaging and so much fun, add in the action and suspense, than mix in some legends of old and you have a recipe for really great series.

Tough Justice Book 1 of 1: K-9 Special Ops (ADULT)
Deck finds himself in the ER with his friend and partner who had just been overdosed on a new drug that can kill with just one grain. Deck doesn't like doctors which is OK because the doctor doesn't like DEA agents, but will they see beyond their pasts to find some common ground so they can get this drug off the streets?
This book is 100 mph all the way to the end. It is amazing how much this book grabbed my attention and held me there until the end. I love stories with K9 partners in them and it helps a lot if they know the dogs limitation and strong points as some stories go past what a dog can do. This one was awesome very knowledgeable. There are some twists and turns so hold on to your set and keep you arms inside as the ride takes you away. I can't wait until I am able to get more.
