A mashup of Harry Potter and the Hunger Games as this group of teen witches and wizards must battle to the death to see which family will have control of the high magick for the next 20 years. Some families are much more ruthless than others, but the out come will be the same per the curse that makes this battle happen, six dead one victor, or the curse will kill them all. But do these champions need to accept their fate or can they beat the curse once and for all.
This book is so full of suspense and action you will be up way past your bed time to see what happens next especially once the veil drops. This book is fast pace once the veil drops and these teens are as cutthroat as the ones of the districts. There are so many secrets, spells and curses that you can help but fall for these characters. I hope you like this book as much as I do.
