Kill It With Magic Lillim Callina Book1 (YA AUDIO)

This book caught me from the beginning.  I actually had the audiobook and Rebecca Roberts made this book easy to listen to with her great narration.  Lillim is a sixteen year old, on her own tasked with fighting demons, vampires, and other paranormal badies.  So really, what is not to be a bit bitter about.  A sixteen year old girl, on her own, who has to fight off and kill bad things that aren't suppose to exist, great teen years and love life, yeah not normal, so yep that might make any girl a bit bitter.  So I totally understand Lillim's sarcasm and off the wall humor, and I liked it.  I enjoyed the fast paced, strong willed girl, who took charge and did what needed to be done to save herself and her friends.  I can't wait for more on audio, because I can not wait to see who Lillim pisses off next.

Warrior: A Seventeen Series Triller Book 2 (ADULT AUDIO)

Alexa is a kick butt covert Crovir agent, Zachary is a Harvard professor and they are teamed up to find Dimitri Resnak's priceless artifacts.  But as the two chase this weird sect across the map from Africa to Vatican City to find the artifacts.  After all of that running what they did find out was there is a lot more to these artifacts than just their worth.
This is another wonderful action packed, take no names, win the day, book.  Alexa is a no nonsense warrior that is all she knows how to do and she is good at it, really good at it.  Zachary is a kind of genius professor, a young one, but a cute geeky one, and Alexa is tasked with taking care of both of them.  Alexa is a strong wonderful well crafted character.  This whole book is awesome and well thought out as are all of A.D. Starrling's books.  Add in the audiobook narration of Michael Bower and you are in the story as part of the team, living it right along with everyone, I hope you are a good fighter.  This is a truly awesome audiobook.

The Immorality Clause An Easytown Novel (ADULT AUDIO)

In futuristic New Orleans, Easytown clubs are being haunted by a serial killer.  But most don't care as long as the tourist still come with the money they bring.  All that is but one police detective, Zack Forrest, and even an attempt on his life won't stop him.  Zach is like a dog with a bone, he is not going to let go until he has it all figured out, and justice is done.
This is a very interesting book/audiobook with all the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and all the varying types and levels of AI.  However, at the same time the author has them very well thought out and realistic in the story, you never once say to yourself, "yeah right", everything seems so real and plausible, and while listing to Daniel Penz narrate the book it is very easy to loose  yourself in Easytown as well.

The Stuff of Stars The Seekers Book Two (YA AUDIO)

Orah and Nathaniel have found their way across the ocean and have found even more people pitted against each other.  One advanced and one just beginning their journey.  Can Orah and Nathaniel bring the sides together so they can become one, and can Orah and Nathaniel do it before the lose themselves to the dreamers in the never ending dream.
This is a great sequel to the first book The Children of Darkness, there is a lot of action, suspense, and so much emotion in this book it will keep you mesmerized until the end.  The narrator Erin deWard brought this book to life for the listener as Orah, telling her story for all to hear.  She is a awesome narrator making each character unique, I really can't wait for the next book.

Jessup's Door (ADULT AUDIO)

When Edwin steps into his favorite antique shop he didn't expect to find the perfect closet door and he really didn't expect to have the stores owner, Dora, at his house when he installs it, and he certainly didn't expect what happens next.
Author Michael Bunker and narrator Alex Silver bring this short story to life and take us, the reader/listener on a time travel journey that might trap or transform our two friends in ways they might just not ever recover from, and we might not either.

Heritage Book Three of the Grimoire Saga (YA AUDIO)

As Kara is coming to grips with her new Ison powers, she must also come to terms with her families past before she can move on and get back to her Vagabonds and the biggest battle Ourea will ever face.
Braeden is slowly trying to rebuild his relationships with the bloods, and figure out a way to kill his father before his father kills everything Braeden has ever loved.
This the third book in the Grimoire Saga and  is one of the most suspenseful, action packed, and the depth and emotion of the story makes this the best book in the series yet, and that is saying a lot.  Just when I couldn't figure out how Ms. Boyce could top the last book she pulls a whole new aspect out, and it was awesome.  Narrator Kara Kovacich made this book as she did with the others, her voices for the different characters and the attitudes and emotions just make each character different and unique.  Ms. Kovacich is a awesome narrator and a really gave Ourea it's pulse.  I can't wait to get book 4, Illusion, in the Grimoire Saga.

Distopia: Land of Dis Book 2 (ADULT AUDIO)

This is the story of a young missionary, Wyngalf, who really just wants to travel and spread the story of his obscure religion.  When in the port town he finds himself in a awesome position to spread his word farther by leading a voyage across the sea to the legendary land of Dis.  When things go bad he finds himself accompanied by a stowaway girl named, Evena, and a odd goblin who was thrown out of his own clan.  Wyngalf must use all his faith to keep the three alive and try to get Evena home, but will his faith hold true, will it be enough?
This is a action packed, suspense filled, dragons, knights in shining armor, and sometimes not so shining armor kind of story.  What you thought you knew about dragons, goblins, and other mythical beings might not hold true in Dis as this land can turn everything on it's ear, but that makes things much more interesting.  This is a very interesting, wonderful book, with well thought out, in depth characters.  Narrator Phil Gigante lending his voice to the audio version just made it that much better. He is a awesome narrator and made this book a joy to listen too.  I can't wait to hear what adventures these friends go on next, and also catch up as I came in on book 2 and need to go back and catch up on book 1.

The Sheriff of Babylon Pow Pow Pow Vol. 2 (ADULT GRAPHIC NOVEL)

Chris is still in Iraq along with Bagdad cop Nassir and political power Sofia are still tracking down the murderer of one of Chris' recruits.  But what they find might surprise them all.
Being a veteran of the period I fell in love with volume one and was very, lucky and happy when I was permitted to review volume 2 which did not disappoint.  This book has just as much action and suspense if not more thatn the first book, I did not think it was possible, but author Tom King made it happen, this is a awesome book and I hope there are more to come.  Thank you for the awesome opportunity.

Scooby Doo Apocalypse (ADULT GRAPHIC NOVEL)

Those medeling kids are here, not back, because in these books they haven't met yet.
Nanites have been released on the world and have been activited turning most humans into monsters, however, the gang was in a safe room when the nanites where activatied and thus are ok so far, but are fighting for their lives and those of humanity.
I was actually skepible about these books having grown up with the original Scooby Doo, but I found I really liked these and I hope you will too.  These are not books for little kids but is awesome for those who grew up with Scooby Doo and are ok with a little more.  This comic is action packed and there a few surprise twists that I can not wait to see how they turn out, so please DC please let me keep reviewing these graphic novels, they are so awesome!!!
