Endure: End Times Alaska, Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

I got the first book on a whim and when I got around to listening to it I had to hurry and buy the next one right away and now I am saving to get the rest.  This is a book that will keep you up past your bedtime or have you taking the long way home from work so you can listen longer if you have the audio version which by the way is well worth it as narrator Chris Abernathy does such a awesome job you will want all of them as a audio.  Craig Martelle brings Alaska alive in this post apocalyptic series where it seems only Alaska is attacked and Chuck and his young family has to survive but to what lengths will  they have to go to survive?

Trackers 4: The Damned (A Post-Apocalyptic Survival Series) (ADULT AUDIO)

This has been my favorite series by Nicholas Sansbury Smith and I suppose that makes this one of the harder reviews to write, for I will miss Creek, Raven and the rest of the gang, some more than others.  It is a better sweet end to a tough subject, a subject made tougher because at any point it could come true. This is just another awesome book by a wonderful author that will have you on the edge of your seat and staying up way past your bedtime or in my case taking the long way home from work to listen a little bit longer as audio narrator Bronson Pinchot is great with all the voices for the characters.

A Thousand Sisters: The Heroic Airwomen of the Soviet Union in World War II (YA)

This is more of a non fiction book of the famous women that made up the Night Witches Regiment of the Soviet Union, one of three regiments of women you still don't hear much about on the history channel or in history books but made such a big difference in the war they fought and died in.  Most of the Night Witches were just teens trying to help their country.  Elizabeth Wein is a master at telling the story of those whose story might have been lost to time and death, and this is no different, the story of the Night Witches is one that needs to be shouted out and not forgotten, that those women were heroes for their country and should be remembered as such and for what women can do.  It was a sisterhood, a bond, that can't be broken.
This is a wonderful book of heroism and a unbreakable bond.  It shows what heart really is during a trying and awful time.  Elizabeth Wein has another great book on her hands and we hope she never stops writing about these wonder women from both sides.

Polar Vortex (ADULT)

Everything seems fine on Mitch and his daughter's flight back to the states from visiting his wife's parents.  His wife stayed behind to deal with her parents last minute arrangements while her brother, a pilot, offers a upgrade if Mitch and their daughter fly home on his flight. Until everything goes wrong.
This is a book of love, betrayal, survival, and sacrifice plus more.  It is a wonderful, powerful book that you won't want to miss.

Polar Vortex (ADULT)

An awesome action packed, roller coaster ride book about a man who will do anything so his daughter can survive, after the plane they were in, flying home, crashed somewhere over the North Pole. But there are so many obstacles in their way it will have you holding your breath and up way past your bedtime to see what happens.  I loved this book, it was so  exciting and grabbed, and sucked me in from the start and didn't let me go until the end.  Mr. Mather has  a way  with his characters and the way he integrates things in the news today into his books. One thing for sure this book won't disappoint.

The Transparency Tonic (Potion Masters) (MG)

This is the sequel to the wonderful first book Potion Masters Eternity Elixir, and it is well worth the wait.  This book has just as much action and suspense if not more, you will be reading past your bedtime until you are finished.  Gordy and his friends have teamed up again to fight against those that wish to do harm to innocent people and the elixirists at B.R.E.W. like his mom.  But strange things have been happening, Gordy brewing strange things and not remembering doing it, the new chancellor at B.R.E.W. who has it out for Gordy's mom, and what about Gordy's grandfather?
This book is for you if you like books  you just can not put down, and if you haven't read the first one yet well there is still time to get it in before this one comes out.

The Similars (YA)

Imagine going back to school after your best friend just committed suicide only to find a guy there that looks exactly like him.  That is what happen to Emma on her first day back at the Darkwood Academy, were the clone kids have been accepted as students for their last two years of high school.  And then you get sucked into this wonderful book and all its twists and turns and suspense, I really don't want to go much into it but there are surprises around several corners.  This book is really good and will have you up past your bedtime reading it is that good, it will suck you in and not let you go until you are done and can breathe again.
