The Unblessed Dead: The Hidden Necromancer Series, Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

Ilyse is 18 and praying with all her might that she is not a necromancer like her mother.  All she wants is to remain pius and get a good husband, but lately the dead have been appearing in her garden and she and her sister hurry and coral them back to their grave so no one will know because if they find out it will be certain death just like her mother.
This book has so much action right from the start and all the way to the end, that I would say you'd be tired after reading/listening to this book except the suspense will keep you pumped, so don't worry.  The characters are well rounded and great for their parts, it is hard to explain but if you read or listen to this book you'll understand.  I you do get the audio version with Laura Bannister narrating you will find yourself in Ilyse's world and taking sides on the matter at hand,  Ms. Bannister and her different voices make every character different and stand out.  This is a great book and I hope you all like it as much as I did no matter which form you choose.

Craven Street: Whitechapel Paranormal Society, Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

This novella has it all, necromancy, possession and murder what else do you want.  But as usual the cops don't have a clue so enter the Whitechapel Paranormal Society to take care of the problem or get killed trying. But with Cora at the helm what can go wrong, they are after  all messing with human  souls.
This was a really good novella with non stop action and suspense that will have you holding your breath.  The characters are great will tons of personality, it will make you want to find other books with them in it.  If you really want something special get the audio version narrated by Melanie Mason and Anthony Bowling as they took this novella a level or more higher.  They made me feel as if I  was part of the Whitechapel Paranormal Society helping them to solve these incidents. The both were so good they became the characters and I was lost in the book.  Either form is OK but this is a book well worth it.

This is a great book with tons of action and lots of futuristic tech stuff that is cool.  The concept is wonderful as are the characters and their stories of how they got to this point.  If you really want a treat get the audio book narrated by Joe Hempel he is awesome and transports you right into the story and his voices for the characters are so good I just lost myself in the Silicon world.

Icehaven: Sum of All Tears, Book 1 (YA AUDIO)

After her fathers climate change experiment goes very wrong August finds herself resurrected in a harsh winter land, unsure of how much time has pasted and if any of her family has survived or not.  Things go from bleak to worse for August and her new friends when the the people that have been helping them make them move to the domed settlement of Liberty and do what they say, but when people are separated from each other and not allowed to talk, August knows something is wrong and with the help of a long time family friend that is now in the guards they vow to find out what it is.
This book moves fast and never slows down, the action and suspense are non stop and will keep you on your toes.  I loved this  book and how the characters developed and interacted, it goes well with the disaster they have been thrown into.  Narrator Jennifer Swanepoel does a wonderful job on the audio version, she made me believe I was there in the story with August and the others sneaking around and getting ready to move against the old guards, Graysen, and Graysen's agenda. This is a awesome book and I can't wait for more.

The Downside of Dachshunds (The Love & Pets Romantic Comedy Series Book 3) (ADULT)

Isa and Adelaide are fulfilling their dream of owning a dude ranch but what they really need is a head wrangler, in walks Tobias who is perfect for the job but Isa hates right after they hire him.  Tobias doesn't think the ranch is the right place for the Z's (Isa's and Addie's three dachshunds).  But it is when movie star Kate arrives everything gets thrown into a huge disco mess, but can it be unraveled in time to save the ranch?
This book is a hoot, even though it is a part of a series these can be read separately just fine or even out of order.  But it truly is funny especially the disco, you-tuber housekeeper, he can not be topped.  This is a the best romcom series I have ever read and I hope the author doesn't stop anytime soon, I can't wait to see what this town can come up with next.

The Starless Sea (ADULT AUDIO)

This is a story of unfinished stories, one of pirates, painters, writers, students, lovers, and the lost.  Zachary Rawlins  is a grad student that finds a really cool old book one night in the library that has parts of his own life in it, so he follows the clues to a masquerade party, and subsequently into a ancient library hidden far below the house.  That is where the beginning starts to end the  stories.
This is a awesome but convoluted book with different stories going on in different time periods all at the same time, but don't get me wrong they are all wonderful and easy to keep straight.  The audiobook is long but awesome with a wonderful cast of narrators that take you into this great world of stories so you and Zachary came work your way out together.

The Hadley Academy for the Improbably Gifted: A Novel (MG AUDIO)

This is a great kind of super hero story (any kid can become a super or rather improbably gifted) that any child can lose themselves in.  Full of action and suspense it will have the reader (child or adult) reading past your bedtime to see how jack and his team fair.  If you happen to get the audio narrated by Zach Hoffman you can’t go wrong, Mr. Hoffman is wonderful and you soon will lose yourself in the world of the Hadley Academy.  You can find this audio book through @librofm.

Fatal Odds (ADULT AUDIO)

Michael Knight has to get involved when one cousin is charged with murder for killing his other cousin in the process of a horse race which is unheard of, but this is only the tip of the iceberg and Michael puts himself right in the middle of things he would have never thought.
The action and suspense in this book are huge.  This is a great book and if you get the audio narrated by Bill Nevitt than you are in for a treat as he draws you right into Michael’s world and you are right there with him, running and traveling to Puerto Rico, to see the animals.  It is a wonderful race car pace story that is told well and when all the pieces come together it is so cool.

Optional Retirement Plan: A Science Fiction Thriller (ADULT)

It seems our hero Stacks Fischer has the oldtimers disease and now is being forced into retirement by Tony two point oh, but Tony has given him the weekend to get his affairs in order, because it seems the syndicate’s idea of retirement is very different than our idea of retirement.  But even still Stacks can cause hate and discontent and maybe even do one last job.
This was a great book even though a bit sad at times.  Even still it was a true SynCorp story with tons of action, twists and turns that will have you holding on to your seat, and characters from lots of past books rolled in.  If you are a Stacks Fischer fan this is a book not to be missed.
