Kingdom Keepers Inheritance (Kingdom Keepers, 1) (MG)

Eli is kidnapped on his thirteenth birthday, to another  time and place.  Eli lived in a place called the communitree that surrounds all of Disney world, there are a  lot of people that live there including Eli's best friends.  What the kids don't know is the true story of how their parents became some of the people that live there.  That is because their parents want to hide the fact that they are the original Kingdom Keepers that saved Disney from the villains when they were about the age of Eli and his friends are now.  But will Eli friends rescue him and are the villains coming again?

This is a awesome stories that will hopefully capture a new a generation of audience and bring them back to the original books as well.  These books are so much fun for anyone who likes Disney,, the movies and the parks.  They have a lot of action, suspense, and twists and turns that will hold even the most reluctant of reader captive and up past their bedtime.

Booked Graphic Novel (The Crossover Series) (MG GRAPHIC NOVEL)

12 year old Nick is having a hard time with bullies, his parents divorce, and girls.  He hates books but they might help him find the words he needs to help voice his side of everything going on.

This is a important book in teaching kids there are better ways to communicate than acting out and that there can be consequences to everything you do, on and off of a sports field or court.  The illustrations are awesome.  This book is great for everyone even reluctant readers.

The Fort (MG)

The morning after a hurricane comes through their town the power is out and there isn't much to do but check out the destruction and their fort.  But then when Evan shows up to meet his friends with Ricky, a new kid, in tow that Evan's grandmother made him take with him, Evan's friends are not very happy.  The boys are upset to find their fort in ruins, but when looking around Ricky finds a hatch to the best thing ever, a fully stocked bomb shelter.  But what happens in the next weeks/months makes it more special than any of the boys could ever imagine.

This book is wonderful, it shows the true meaning of friendship with old friends and new.  It shows what you think may be one thing might be something very different.  That a great dad might not be so great and a so so dad might be a great dad.  It shows that pretty much everyone has heartache in their lives and can relate in one way or another.  It shows no one is truly alone if they just look around.  And it shows help can come from a place you never think of.  This book is another hit for Author Gordon Korman as he writes from a place kids can truly relate too.

Ham Helsing #2: Monster Hunter (MG GRAPIC NOVEL)

Ham has been left with he job he never wanted, hunting vampires and other monsters.  The job should have been his fearless brothers but he died, twice now.  He and his friends have been invited to camp Fish Head as guests of honor only to find campers showing up and no staff in sight.  Each camper has their own fears, one is bugs, one is its own shadow, and so on.  As Ham tries to make it camp like for the campers he soon finds it hard with their fears, not to mention the campers are disappearing.  Ham and his friends must get the kids back before their parents come, but where are they?

This is a cute series and this book teaches in its way about growing up.  I liked this story and series a lot and hope everyone else will too.  This book is great for everyone and even reluctant readers will find Ham and his friends fun.  I can't wait to find out where they go from here.

The Tyr: Arrival: The Tyr Trilogy, Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

Daniel fought as a soldier for a long time but gave it all up for a science job a safer job.  He was supposed to study the Tyr over several years their mission was to have ended when the replacements arrived, however Daniel found out that the replacements job was to obliterate the Tyr, now Daniel must find a away to do what is right.

This was a wonderful, exciting book.  It has plenty of action and some suspense.  The audio was wonderful to listen to as narrator R.C. Bray did a awesome job bringing it all to life through his voice.  I can't wait to see what happens to the Tyr, Daniel and Daniels family in the next book.

A Misuse of Time: Broken Wand Academy, Episode 4 (YA AUDIO)

This series is one that will grab you and not let go until it is over.  In this book Meena shows her strength in all she does.  She goes back to her dad through Braden's portal but gets yanked to another place before she gets to hear the whole story of her mom's and her past.  She soon finds herself fleeing the Broken Wand academy for the Gladwell academy with a wolf shifter she seems to be able to talk to through her mom's family connection so she thinks.

This is another wonderful book in the Broken Wand Academy series.  I have had so much fun listening to these stories and am hoping there is more to come.  The characters have grabbed my heart and I am not ready to leave them yet.  I also can not say enough about narrator Nara Naranjit and how wonderful the audios have been.  This book (and series) is wonderful and I hope you all like it as much as I do.

City of Hooks and Scars (City of Villains, Book 2) (YA)

Mary Elizabeth is still investigating the disappearance of her friends and what exactly is going on in her city all the while battling the voice in her head.  Her best friends and boy friend disappeared after the battle of Miracle Lake to plot their next move, but Mary decided not to go with them and has now changed her mind and wants to be be with them however, she can't quite figure out where they are or how to get there.  Meanwhile kids from all over the Scar are disappearing and her villainous friends are being blamed for it all.

I love this book, isn't there always a like devilish voice inside of us wanting us to do the thing we wish we could do if we only knew we could get away with it.  That is Mary's voice and it keeps things exciting especially every time the Red Queen shows up, off with their heads!  This book has a lot of action but even more suspense and I can not wait to see what happens next.

Academy of Shifters: Witches and Wolves (Book 6) (YA AUDIO)

Remi has to go back to place that has brought her so much pain.  But when she meets Meena things start to come together in the story.  This is a story of pulling everything together before the final book, however since I started in the middle to end of the series it has answered a lot of questions for me, and I enjoyed it a lot.  I and being pulled as the end comes near I can't wait for the next book but don't want they story to end either.

Brimstone: Mech Force, Book 2 (ADULT AUDIO)

Captured by his, well Nate primes, best friend looking for information to bring down the government.  At the same time Broken Arrow is a mess thinking the worst, and the only thing they can do is find a old warrior that can explain or maybe why even help find Nate so they can rescue him and finally get the whole truth.

This is a great action packed book full of suspense and twists.  The characters are awesome as is the story-line.  The audio was made that much better by the wonderful voice of James Patrick Cronin who did the narration of the audiobook.  He was able to take what the author wonderfully wrote and transfer it to a awesome listening experience.  I loved it a lot and can't wait for more.  I really hope you will love it too.

Answers in the Pages (MG)

When Donovan leaves his copy of the Adventures, a class reading assignment, on the kitchen counter he never thought what would happen next would ever happen.  His mom reads the beginning and the end of the book, it is a paragraph found at the end that has Donovan's mom in the principals office, and will have the school and community in a uproar before it is all over.

This was a awesome book and came in such a timely period when book bannings are at there highest numbers ever.  This book should be on every librarians (school and public) to be read list. I am sure I will personally be buying copies to hand out.  The character are wonderful and the whole book is wonderfully thought out.  I loved this book and hope you all do too.

The Zee Brothers: Zombie Exterminators: Curse of the Zombie Omelet! (ADULT AUDIO)

The Zee brothers Jonah and Judas along with JJ and her dog Xanadu are just trying to keep their area of Arizona from being overrun by zombies and the zombies unleashing their curse of the town. So the funny and danger prone trio go about their business of exterminating the Zombies.

This was a very different kind of zombie book and I really enjoyed it.  The characters, location, and plot where all wonderful.  Narrated by Ian McEven who I think made it even that much funnier and fun to listen too.  This is the first of the series I have gotten to listen too and I certainly hope not the last.

When Women Were Dragons (ADULT)

This is the story of Alex Green who lived a hard and extraordinary life.  She lived through the mass dragoning of 1955 when thousands and thousands of ordinary house wives and women suddenly turned into dragons and left to live among their own.  Her mom seemingly disappeared when she was a girl and her aunt came and took over the cooking, cleaning and seeing to Alex.  But her mom came back and said she didn't want to see her sister anymore until she changed her ways, for the sake of their relationship the sister changed, got married (to a abusive husband) and had a baby only to disappear later and the husband found dead.  Everything after that shapes Alex and her cousin for the rest of their lives, and wow what a ride.

This is a great book, one my synopsis doesn't do justice to for the sake of not giving anything good away.  This book has action but more suspense.  The characters are awesome and show wonderfully that women can not be silenced and pushed down forever.

An Unreliable Magic (A Hundred Names for Magic, 2) (YA)

Alex, Tala and the rest are safe for now but the Snow Queen is still out there and no one knows what she is planning next, but they need to be prepared.  So the Banders train.  They also go on missions but the last few Ryker has showed up and while it might be nice he is there to fight the ice wolves, they might not have had to fight them if he hadn't showed up and now have refugees to deal with.  Will all of this help them in the end fight the Snow Queen?

This book is a mash up of ever fairy tale and kids story you have ever heard.  From the pirate ship in Peter Pan, to Rapunzel, to  the sword in the stone, and many more for you to discover, but that makes the book even more fun.  This book is 100 percent action and a really fun read that will have you up way past your bedtime.

The Book Woman's Daughter: A Novel (Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, 2) (ADULT)

This book takes place several years after the The Bookwoman Of Troublesome Creek ended and now the little family finds themselves in big trouble and Cussy and her husband want to save their child, Honey, from being a part of it by sending her to stay with a family friend back in Troublesome Creek and that woman to become her guardian so she can stay out of children's work prison.  But when the older lady dies Honey must do what she can to fight for her own freedom and for a blue in Ky in those days is a uphill battle but Honey finds she has more friends than she will ever know.

Being a librarian in Ky of course we all know of those pioneering woman in eastern Ky that delivered books to people via pack horse, mule, boro, whatever they could get to carry them and the books to their patrons.  But these books bring those stories alive, and it is both a proud and sad time in our Ky history.  Proud of these woman and what they accomplished, and sad how the justice system let down those in their care especially the woman and children.  This book is a awesome historical fiction book and a series I hope we get to see more of to see more of the Lovett family and how things go from here.  I also have to admit I was excited to see Lagrange and Pewee Valley mentioned as that is where I live now and I wish Honey could have seen some of the good there instead of just a quick stop at the prison.

The Marvellers (MG)

For many years the Marvellers only came from the sky cities but this year is the first that the school will admit conjurers, although only one accepted the offer and that was Ella Durand but right from the start she is met with mean discriminating classmates.  But soon Ella becomes friends with her new room mate and a nice boy that was to show Ella around but they have secrets of their own.  But when their favorite teacher goes missing the trio won't stop at anything to find him even being kicked out of school.

This book was really good, Ella never gives up when she knows she is right she will stop at nothing to prove it, despite all the road locks thrown her way and there are many.  I think most of us would like to be that brave, and it is refreshing to see a girl accomplish all Ella does.  I hope we can follow Ella and her friends all through school and beyond.

Skandar and the Unicorn Thief (MG)

All Skandar has ever wanted was to be a unicorn rider, but on the day of his test he is turned away without even taking it and he feels his chance is gone forever.  Until a woman comes at midnight to collect him to try to open the hatchery door, if he can open it he will be given a egg to hatch.  He is confused since he didn't take the test but his desire to ride a unicorn wins and he goes with the woman.  This is when everything he even knew about the unicorn riders changes and he is fear for his unicorn for he is different than all the rest and it is a secret that is harder to keep as time goes on.

This was a awesome book with non stop action and twists and turns from start to finish, this author will keep you on your toes.  I loved all of the character especially Red the unicorn with his special trick.  I
can not wait to read more about Skandar and his friends.

My Own Lightening (MG)

Returning to Wolf Hollow we find young Annabelle on her way home from helping to clean the schoolhouse, when a storm brews up fast and catches her out in the open and Annabelle is struck by lightening.  All she remembers is being stung by thousands of wasps all at once than a pounding on her chest and her daddy picking her up and carrying her home.  She is fine but can now feel what animals are feeling.  Other than that there is also the new man that moved in down the road, a bully across the road from Annabelle's family farm that has a lot more to his story than people know, and the missing dogs, what do all of these have in common.

It is a lot going on a one time but as a reader it is not confusing at all, all the pieces fit together nicely.  There is more than enough action and a lot of suspense.  Whether you have read the first book or not this is a great book to read.  I hope we get to see Annabelle again soon.

The Ghost Mine: Tech Ghost, Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

People keep dying at the mine but no one knows why and when Justin almost become one of the dead he can't stop trying to find out about or find the ghost that saved him, even when the company threatens to fire him.  But soon he figures out it is way bigger than him, and the ghost is after something more , something much bloodier.

This is a really cool book, great characters, great setting, great action, great suspense, and twist and turn that will knock you off of your seat if your not careful.  The audio performed by Joe Hempel Just gives it a bit more flare than you would get with the print version, he voice has you losing yourself in the story like you are there in the middle of the mine. I really liked this audiobook and hope you do too.

Real Actors, Not People (The Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mysteries Book 8) (ADULT AUDIO)

The Shoemakers and friends take a camping trip to get rid of the real world for a bit only to find they are shooting a reality TV show in the campground.  But when the accidents start than a death it all gets very real.

I love these Frannie Shoemaker audios.  Narrator Michelle Babb has become the voice of Frannie and she is wonderful.  I love the action and suspense in these mysteries and how Frannie can stumble upon dead people.  I also like the real life going ons in the campgrounds, people not prepared or even have a clue what they are doing, to the seasoned pros.  These are just plain wonderful books or if you are like me audios, and I can't wait for more.

Academy of Shifters: Teacher's Pet (Veiled World) (YA AUDIO)

Seems I am starting late as this is the first audio of the series I have listened too.  I like the action and suspense.  The characters are fun and easy to manage, but starting late in the series did leave some questions to be answered that I am sure were addressed earlier in the series, which I hope someday to be able to go back and hear.  The audiobooks are brought to life through the wonderful voice of narrator Brittany Goodwin. She has a way with these books that bring it to life for the listener in a way the written word does not do.  This series has made a fan out of me and I can't wait to find out what happens next.

The Investigator (ADULT)

This book is about Letty Davenport, Lucas' adopted daughter.  At 24 she has seen more action than most agents in any of the alphabet agencies.  Letty has been working with a senator but has become board and has decided to leave, when the Senator offers her a chance to work with homeland security on a oil theft case in Texas.  She takes the job and will see what happens after before she makes a final decision on whether to leave or not. But can she break the boys club and be accepted, and what about that missing oil?

This was wonderful action packed book, with a lot of suspense.  I like the Letty character and her no one can stop her attitude.  Kaiser is part of the boys club and hates he has to babysit her until they find a happy medium where they can help, teach, and learn from each other.  Any women in a more male driven job has had to deal with this issue of acceptance so it's nice to see characters have to as well.  I really liked this book and hope to see more of Letty and Kaiser again.

The Weird Sisters: A Note, a Goat, and a Casserole (Weird Sisters Detective Agency, 1) (MG)

This is a cute book about three witches that have moved into a old house and are making a big pot of soup for dinner, when a girl comes looking for her lost goat and what moves on from there will help show empathy and acceptance for those different from ourselves.

I loved this cute book that is very funny and entertaining but still slips in a lesson without you knowing it.  This will make a great class read and is even wonderful for a reluctant reader.  It is a fun book that children will love adults too.

Omens Bite: Sisters of Salem (Sisters of Salem, 2) (YA)

Mercy and Hunter have lost their mom and now in their grief fighting each other, they go their own ways, well as much as you can in a smallish town.  The twins are green witches taking after their mom, but it is not something that they advertise.  Together they are now the guardians of the gates to the underworld, but something is making the gates sick and they need to find out how to fix it before the demons start coming through and attacking the twins world.  While Hunter throws herself into her friends, Mercy thinks she is by herself and seeks out the friendship of a gate keeper from the other side.

This was a wonderful book, even though I just started the series I could understand what went on in the first book.  The characters are well developed and fun especially Xena.  The action is non-stop and the suspense is thick and the whole book was so much fun I can't wait for part three.

Shinji Takahashi and the Mark of the Coatl (The Society of Explorers and Adventurers) (MG)

Shinji a normal tween being dragged on his aunts, most unconventional, shopping trips.  This particular trip she gives him money  and a quest, and they both get a whole lot more than they bargain for, including a really cool tattoo.

This was a awesome book filled with action and suspense it will grab anyone and suck them right into the story and hold them until well past their bedtime just to see what happens next.  The characters are engaging and so much fun, add in the action and suspense, than mix in some legends of old and you have a recipe for really great series.

Tough Justice Book 1 of 1: K-9 Special Ops (ADULT)

Deck finds himself in the ER with his friend and partner who had just been overdosed on a new drug that can kill with just one grain.  Deck doesn't like doctors which is OK because the doctor doesn't like DEA agents,  but will they see beyond their pasts to find some common ground so they can get this drug off the streets?

This book is 100 mph all the way to the end.  It is amazing how much this book grabbed my attention and held me there until the end.  I love stories with K9 partners in them and it helps a lot if they know the dogs limitation and strong points as some stories go past what a dog can do.  This one was awesome very knowledgeable.  There are some  twists and turns so hold on to your set and keep you arms inside as the ride takes you away. I can't wait until I am able to get more.

Flaming Crimes: Disaster Crimes, Book 4 (ADULT AUDIO)

Beth and Donovan are happily married and are now starting to think of kids.  But wildfires close to their home has them both on edge, so much so they don't notice some of the strange things that are happening to them for what they are, until it is almost to late.  Now the fire is coming for their house and while Donovan is helping keep water on the house Beth is running things to there car and helping neighbors until she finds herself running for her life.

These books just keep getting better, more action and more suspense, I don't know how the author does it but I like it.  Narrator Bill Nevitt gives it another awesome performance and I can not wait for the next book.  Beth and Donovan have become family and I love hearing what they are up too and how they beat the bad guys.

The Diamond Eye (Adult)

Mila Pavlichenko a History student working on her dissertation.  She goes out for a weekend at the beech with friends she at a opera/ballet to see some friends perform when she finds out Hitler just invaded Russia.  She next finds herself signing up to go to the front with the infantry, where her goal is to become a sniper.  After overcoming the sex discrimination against women being effective snipers she becomes one of the best in Russia.  But as you will find out there is much more than just that to Mila, so much more.

I love Kate Quinn's books and this one is no different.  I fell in love with Mila almost from the start, being a female veteran myself working in a more male dominated job I felt a sisterhood with her and cheered her on throughout this book.  Mila's character is one you won't ever forget, her tenacity will inspire, and her gumption will impress you.

Shattered: The Illusion of Truth, Book 2 (YA AUDIO)

We heard Tenly’s side after become a member of the Cobalt Premier Workforce in Collapsed book 1, now we hear what Kalib has gone through after going to his assignment in the Premier Workforce.  His job and function to the scarlets have been very different than Tenly’s.  Even through Tenly’s rejection and her implying that he cheated to get his spot, Kalib just can’t shake Tenly from him mind not to mention he promised her dad he would watch put for her.

This was a wonderful book that showed a different side of the same place and allowed the reader/listener to get the whole story before moving on.  There is so much action and suspense that it will keep you up past your bedtime to find out what happens.  I had the audio and took the long way to each destination so I could hear more.  The narrator Darren Martens does a excellent job telling Kalib’s story that you forget that you aren’t actually listening to the character.  This is a great clean series one that should not be missed.

The Storm Glass: The Glass Sky Series, Book 1 (YA AUDIO)

Star doesn't want to get married she wants to be a engineer/mechanic like her dad, and she feels no husband would ever let her do that, she thinks she would have to be arm candy and a baby factory to any of her parents choices, but there is a lot of the world Star knows nothing about.  She is about to get a crash course.

This was a great story with lots of twists and turns and full bore action until the end.  The audio is narrated by a wonderful voice actor Kim Churchill who will have you thinking you are there with Star and her hero Clyde, pointing them in the right direction and letting Star know when she is doing dumb things, not that she will listen to you.  I really can't wait for the next book, and I hope you won't be able to as well.

The Kaiju Preservation Society (ADULT)

Jamie had a decent job, but with covid shutdowns looming in New York he finds himself laid off.  So just to make money he takes a lower position with the company and now finds himself a delivery person similar to doordash.  One day he delivers to a person that turned out to be a old friend, Tom.  But after a few months Tom tells Jamie he won't be ordering for a long while as his company is sending him away on business, it dawns on Tom to offer Jamie a recently vacated position on his team and without knowing anything about the job other than he will be lifting things Jamie takes it.  But what happens next will rock his world.

This was a great book that kept me up past my bedtime a few nights to see what happened next.  This book is action packed and will grab your attention and not let go until a while after you finish and process it all.  I can not say enough about this wonderful book other than I will be recommending it a lot.

Seeking Hope: The Emergence Saga, Book 1 (ADULT AUDIO)

Five years after the super bug started Astra and Jude emerge from their underground bunker their parents put them in to wait it out.  The next step is to find food and Astra's sister Hope who the government took in the beginning of the pandemic for testing to make a cure for the super bug.  But what Astra and Jude find is shocking even to them.

This is another wonderful book by Kim Cresswell where the heroes come from ordinary people doing what they need to do because it is the right thing to do.  The action comes fast and furious and the suspense is thick.  Emma Stemen narrates the audio for this book and she does a awesome job.  I can't wait for more to see what happens next.

Tsunami Crimes: Disaster Crimes, Book 3 (ADULT AUDIO)

Beth and Donovan are getting married but the bad guys have other plans.  But when their detective friend gets the police to tighten the circle around the pair until they leave for their honeymoon all seems good and no one thinks they bad guys will follow them to Hawaii.  But then a tsunami hits and Beth and Donovan get separated and they aren't even sure if the other, or the bad guy, has survived.

This is another 100 mph action book from start to end, with twists and turns all over.  If you are listening to the series you will be glad to know that Bill Nevitt is back with another awesome narration of this series.  I hope you all will love this series as much as I do.

North to Paradise: A Memoir (ADULT)

Ousman at 12 years old left his village to undertake a 5 year trek to Europe.  Ever step of the way he found friends and a guiding hand to help him even as others fell by the wayside.

This was a very inspiring book and what this young man did and endured was amazing.

The School for Whatnots (MG)

Josie is raised from almost birth to be a whatnot, a child who acts a certain way (like a robot) and when old enough goes to school with a rich kid, until middle school.  The rich kids parents purposefully do this to save their children from being taken advantage of, Josie's dad did this so maybe she would get to go to nicer schools and get out of the poor neighborhood they live in.  But Josie and her rich kid Max turn out to be more than friends they are best friends that aren't ready to lose each other yet, and that is where this story gets very interesting.

This is one of those stories that is fun to read and makes you think if this could really happen, but at the same time makes you a bit sick to feel any child feels this way.  It is a great story of true friendship and even though that is not the full take away from the book I hope it is the main take away.  This book would be great for all readers as it has something for everyone.

The Space Invader: A Frannie Shoemaker Campground Mystery, Book 7 (ADULT AUDIO)

Frannie and the  gang are  back again and they are exploring New Mexico, the Roswell area where the alien worshipers live.  Between a man on the run after escaping from prison and the alien cults things get very hairy for Frannie and the gang.

This is another fine mess the gang has landed in (see what I did there). There camping trip is full of action and suspense.  But this is a case they need to solve for themselves as it is some of their own that are missing this time.  If  you are a fan of this series too this book is not to be missed.  If you are listening to this series as I am Michelle Babb is back with her wonderful narration, that will transport you there to help the gang.

The Misfit Soldier (ADULT)

Gas (Gastovsky) isn't you typical Sergent he joined up  to run away from trouble.  Gas always has a con or side-hustle going on somewhere on the base.  But he is all business when it comes to his squad, and he refuses to leave one of his squad behind.  That is where we find him at the point the story starts, trying to sneak onto a ship going down to where the fighting is to try and get his team member back all by himself, but then things change a lot when he is caught.

This is a non stop action book with more twists and turns than a roller coaster.  The author has caught the military team bonding as well as any other author has if not better.  I really liked this book and hope to see more of Gas and the team because I refuse to believe this is the end of their story.

Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead (ADULT)

Finlay and Vero are back but as of the moment the only dead thing they need to rid themselves of is a goldfish.  But that won't last long if a online chat room person gets her way as she wants Finlay's ex dead. So with the holidays fast approaching can Finlay keep Steven alive for her kids, get the chat room groupie to take back the hit, get ready for the holidays with the kids, sort out her love life, and push out a new book?

I love this book (and the first) it is so funny how Finlay keeps get these issues thrown in her lap and she can do nothing but deal with them.  If it wasn't so funny it'd be tragic, and yet it seems she always comes out on top.  The characters are so good and the story plot even better.  Give this series a chance and I bet (wink wink) it'll have you laughing too.

Forbidden City (3) (City Spies) (MG)

The mean guys at Umbra have their sight set on a North Korean nuclear physicist and will do anything to get him.  But hopefully the City Spy can get to him before Umbra and get him and his champion chess playing son to safety.  This mission hinges on being good enough to compete in champion level chess, acting like a world class reporter (who gets to hang out with a boy band) and a lot of other talents and one wrong move can spoil the case.  The mission is hot.  We are a go!

I love this series it is not totally unrealistic that this could possibly happen and it it always cool to picture yourself as part of a team like this.  This book is great for all and even reluctant readers, as I think everyone can relate to one character or another.  This is a great book and a wonderful series I can't wait to see what the team gets into next.

Hold My Place (ADULT)

When a librarian falls for a very married man.  They stay as great friends, until covid comes and takes his wife but did it really, after all this would be the third time he has been widowed.  Edgar it seems takes no time before getting Sigrun, the librarian, to move in.  But is Sigrun safe or will she be number 4?

This book is a interesting take on the old black widow stories, and there of course is a lot more too it that will keep your interest.  The characters are well developed and the story line moves at a good pace.  All in all it was a good story and a wonderful book.

Operation Do Over (MG AUDIO)

Mason and Ty are best friends, that is until Ava showed up, and that messed up their relationship and lives in more ways than one.  But it is also a time when Mason gets his do over point to try and make things right not only with Ty, but with other things in his life.

This is another awesome book by Mr. Korman.  It has a meaning hidden in the story and maybe even a little time travel too.  This is a great book for even those reluctant of readers.
