Seismic Crimes: Disaster Crimes, Book 2 (ADULT AUDIO)

Beth might not know a bunch about Donovan but she know she is in love with him, even if he is suspected of murder.  Beth goes with him to turn himself in and explain how he is innocent and how he is being framed.  But when the flood waters recede there is more to discover and it means a trip to California to try and catch Donovan's brothers killer and of course Beth will not let him go alone. Than it really gets crazy.

This is a wonderful audio, it was so much fun to listen too, I didn't want it to end thank goodness there are more adventures so it didn't really end.  The story line is awesome and the narrator sticks you right in the middle of all the action like you could help too.  Voice actor Bill Nevitt is that kind of narrator, he can transport you into the story using his voice, I have truly enjoyed all the audio-books I have narrated by Mr. Nevitt and now also those written by Mr. Fey.

Collapsed: Book One of The Illusion of Truth (YA AUDIO)

Tenly has spent her whole life working toward getting into the Premier Workforce so she can have  things a bit better than her parents.  But she soon finds out it isn't always greener on the other side of the fence, any little thing can get her kicked out and her parents punished.  It would be so hard but the lady scarlet wants her out but the man scarlet hand picked her for his daughter to learn from but which has the higher hand, which is the one she needs to be careful of?  Tenly's life as a poor cobalt was filled with education and love, her charges, is more restrictive even though she is a rich scarlet.

This was a great book so much packed in so few pages, that I can't wait for more.  If you got the audio you are in for a treat with the lovely voice of narrator Shoana Hunt bringing the story to life through her voice.  This is truly a wonderful book/audio-book and I can wait to dive into more of the series.

The Immortality Game (ADULT AUDIO)

Zoya is doing what she needs to do to survive, so when her brother strongly asks her to do a package pick up for him she does it.  But things go sideways and she finds two chips in the bag one helps her fight off all foes even a mafia, the other might have a even more significant use, but for now she is on the run, with only a strange American boy, Marcus, that can talk to his dad inside his head and has loads of money to help.  The more of her world that crashes down the more she runs and it becomes a vicious cycle until she makes her stand.

This is a very interesting book, science isn't close to what is described in this book yet, but maybe someday.  Just something to keep in mind as reading or listening to this book.  This book is well thought out and the plot is tight.  I liked this book with its non stop action and how it filled me with intrigue over what some day the future might hold.  I had the audio version narrated by Sam Atlas.  The audio will drop you right down with Zoya and Marcus and you can become part of the race across the city and you too can play the game, the immortality game.

Broken Wand Academy: Episode 3: A Hidden Truth (Veiled World) (YA AUDIO)

This book picks up right were the second left off, but with many more questions.  Meena is trying to figure out who is after the students or was it just the one, and she wants/needs to know more information on her grandmother and mom.  This book was just as hard to put down as the other and it left you with questions like the others but different questions, like what did she see about her mom in the telescope.  I love this series and hope you all do too.  I had the audio version with very talented Chaleeya Yeh narrating and if you choose this format you will love it just as much as Ms. Yeh will throw you right into the story and have you trying to help Meena yourself.

The Forgotten Sacrifice: Broken Wand Academy, Episode 2 (YA)

Meena finds herself kidnapped and now in a school for witches. Yep you read that right, they even gave her parents a false story so they won't worry at her sudden and unexplained absence, even though the story was a lame one.  But she is here now and has a few friends, well at least one, the boy she saved in the woods.

This story hooks you from the first chapter and will have you up past your bedtime reading or listening to see what happens next.  This is a wonderful book and will have you wanting more.  The narrator, Chaleeya Yeh, will have you pulled into the story and rooting for Meena right away.  This is a series you won't want to miss.

After Z: Part 2 (ADULT AUDIO)

Ryan Maxwell and his family are doing well since the ImDed2 virus outbreak and now things have calmed down a bit it is time to go and get family and bring them to the compound.  This is the story of their trials and tribulations what worked and what didn't.

I love this series, it would be awesome that when it came down to it what Ryan spent his lotto money on and right underneath peoples noses, even his family.  It is also cool to know he will share with any willing to help, no free rides, but a way if willing to make it through this and in relative comfort.  At least for me despite the death and destruction, some even friends, it in the end is a feel good book and one that was listened too when needed.  This is a great book and I had the audio narrated by Matthew Crow, who sounds just like a person I know, has a amazing voice for this book, he is Ryan Maxwell and he will take you with him on this journey, so hold on tight it might get bumpy.

The Twin Paradox (YA)

What would happen if people like Issac Newton, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King Jr, or maybe Hitler, or Genghis Khan were born today?  What if a corporation found a way to clone the genius part?  What if they were brought up knowing they were very smart and had special teachers to guide them in their studies but were never told any thing else about where they came from?  All of this and more is explored in The Twin Paradox.

This was a awesome book and makes you think as science is catching up in these areas faster and faster.  It is also and interesting case for nature versus nurture.  I really liked this book and wish I had the chance the review book two.  The characters are wonderful, being what each is, and the story is really good.  This  book should definitely be on top of your TBR pile.
